Call for Papers & Abstracts — International Conference on Child Development

Abstract submission closes in
148days
5 March 2027

The International Conference on Child Development invites researchers, practitioners and doctoral students to submit abstracts for presentation in Paris, France, on 26–28 March 2027, or live online. This call for papers on child development is open to empirical, theoretical, methodological and applied work on childhood from infancy to early adolescence.

We particularly welcome studies that connect disciplines — for example, research that links developmental psychology with education, health, family studies or social policy — and work that examines children's lives in diverse cultural and economic contexts. Early-career researchers are encouraged to submit, and every author, whatever their career stage, receives the same double-blind review.

Your child development abstract submission is made entirely online. You only need an abstract to take part; a full paper is optional and is needed only if you wish to be considered for the Proceedings. Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis, and you will receive a decision by email within 7–14 business days. Early submission gives you more time to plan registration and travel, particularly if you need an invitation letter.

The abstract submission deadline is 5 March 2027. Accepted authors then register to confirm their presentation in Paris or online and the publication of their abstract in the Abstract Book.
