Mode of Presentation
You can share your research in three ways: an oral presentation in Paris, a poster presentation in Paris, or a live virtual presentation online. Presenters first submit their work for peer review and register after acceptance.

Presentations normally allow 15 minutes per presentation. Your exact slot and Q&A arrangements will be included in your presenter instructions.
The programme depends on accepted and registered presentations and is emailed to registered participants when it is ready.
Oral Presentations
How it works
You present your research in person at the venue in Paris and may use slides. Your presentation normally lasts up to 15 minutes; your session and Q&A arrangements are confirmed in your presenter instructions.
Preparation checklist
- Rehearse so your talk fits within your assigned time.
- Check that your slides, videos and other media open and play correctly.
- Bring a backup copy of your presentation, for example on a USB drive.
- Name your file with your family name and, once known, your session.
- Follow the arrival instructions in your presenter email.
Equipment and technical assistance
Details of the equipment available in presentation rooms will be sent with your presenter instructions. If you have special requirements, please contact us in advance so we can confirm what is possible.
Sending your slides
Instructions for sending your slides will be included in your presenter email. Please do not send slides through the submission update form.
Poster Presentations
How it works
A poster presents your research visually at the venue. Please be available at your poster during the poster session communicated to you, so you can explain your work and answer questions.
Poster specifications
Poster presenters will receive the size and format requirements by email.
Printing and display
Printing, mounting and collection instructions are included in your poster instructions.
Attendance and changes
Poster presenters attend their assigned poster session. If you can no longer attend in person, please contact us to ask about switching to virtual participation; a switch is not automatic.
Virtual Presentations
How it works
You join live online and share your presentation with the session. The academic journey is the same as for in-person presenters: submission, review, acceptance, then registration.
Timing and joining instructions
Virtual presentations normally allow 15 minutes. Your session time, timezone, Q&A arrangements and private joining details are emailed to you after registration, including when to join before your session.
Technical checklist
- A reliable internet connection, wired if possible
- A tested microphone and camera
- Screen sharing tested with your slides and any media
- A quiet space with good lighting
- Notifications closed on your device
- The support contact from your joining email to hand
Documents and publication
Virtual presenters receive their certificates under the same registration rules as other participants. Accepted and registered abstracts are published in the ISBN Abstract Book; full papers that meet the review requirements can be published in the Proceedings with ISSN and DOI. See Publication for journal opportunities and conditions.
